Incubator Farm Program

Our Incubator Farm Program (IFP) is one of two main pillars of Foundation Farms.  Using the methodologies honed at Seedpod Farm, our aim is to teach small niche farming with a community mindset.  Participants in the IFP commit to the program for three years---the traditional length of time required by most grant programs to access operating capital.  During these three years, the farmers learn small niche farming, develop their business plan, consider where they can make a difference in the community food system, and help one another on the road to a healthier lifestyle.  The Incubator Farm Program, at it's core, embodies the three tenants of "Sovereignty through Skills, Belonging through Relationship, and Community through Service."
